Arya Durga Temple

ARYA DURGA TEMPLE, ANKOLA

Sri Arya Durga Temple is in the coastal town of Ankola in Uttara Kannada District. Established over 300 years ago by a saint, the temple has his samadhi in front of it. The temple was renovated recently. Kundodhari Mahamaya Chamundeswari Temple is another nearby attraction.

Ankola is a charming place which attracts tourists to its sandy beaches. It has its own railway station. Mangalore is the nearest airport.

HOW TO REACH ANKOLA
It is well connected to Mangalore and Goa - by bus and train. Konkan railways operates fairly regular services. Bangalore is connected by road. The National Highway 17( NH-17 ) passes through Ankola from Goa to Udupi. East Direction - Connected to Hubli by National Highway 63.
