Maravanthe Beach

Marawanthe or Maravanthe is a beach located at a distance of 12 km from Kundapur town of Udupi district. Marawanthe beach is one of the must visit tourist spots of Karnataka.



The National Highway (NH-17) passes close to this beach and a stretch of one km of this road is bordered by the shores of the Arabian Sea on one side and Sauparnika river on the other.

The endless stretch of golden sand, palm trees, blue sky and the flow of the sea, attracts a large number of tourists to Marawanthe. Marawanthe beach offers a spectacular view when the sun sets. Marawanthe Beach is also popular for its water sports.

Watersports and beach resorts make Marwanthe a unique seaside town, an enjoyable holiday spot. It is bordered by the Arabian Sea and the West Coast Highway on one side and the Sauparnika river on the other. The sunsets here are truly breathtaking.
