ULSOOR LAKE

Ulsoor Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Bangalore, Karnataka and a major tourist attrraction in the city. Ulsoor Lake derives its name from the name of the locality it is situated viz., Ulsoor, close to M G Road. It is spread over 50 ha (125 acres) and has several islands. People could also sit and relax on the small islands that are on the lake. With a radius of about 3-Km, this lake is ideal for rowing around in a boat or to sprawl on the green grass that surrounds the lake.

There is a public swimming pool by the lake, open from 9am to 6pm with holiday on Wednesdays. Boating facilities are available. Fountains in the lake are created and switched on for limited time.
